Food And Drinks On The Water

Your check-in is at the Oosterkade, where your boat will be waiting. Arriving on time? Treat yourself to a drink on the sunny terrace of Orloff aan de Kade, right next to the dock. Or cross the water to the Utrechtse Boekenbar (Westerkade 2) for a coffee among books - with a perfect view of the boats.

On the western Singel, you'll find SushiPoint, accessible via the dock at Catherijnesingel. Call ahead and pick up your sushi order as you cruise by!

Check the menu at: sushipoint.nl/menu.

In the Weerdsluis area on the Vecht river, you’re allowed to moor and step ashore. In just 2 minutes, you’ll reach Il Mulino, known for serving Italian-style ice cream. The Weerdsluis dock also enjoys the longest sunshine hours in Utrecht!

Back on the Oudegracht, at number 50, you’ll find the Vandestreek Café - home of Utrecht’s own brewery and the best 0% IPA beer you’ll ever taste: Playground. They serve plenty of other beers too, and are happy to help when you moor in front.

Also on the Oudegracht (Donkere Gaard 3), check out Thijm Coffeehouse & Dinerbar. Scan the QR code from the quay for their to-go boat menu. We recommend the Lebanese Salad Bowl, made even better with a side of Labneh - enough for two!

At the end of the Oudegracht (Twijnstraat 55), there’s Fritt’za, with an irresistible selection of Southern Italian-style fried pizzas. A must-try! Use code #canalcruisingutrecht to get 10% discount. Check the menu at fritzza.nl.

Near the Wittevrouwensingel, sail under the Vaaltbrug into the Biltse Grift. After 100 metres, sneak in a quick mooring on the right and grab something special from Fufu Coffee or Karibu Café.

To good vibes and great tastes
